Republican Margaret Cunzio faces a challenge from Democrat Daren Tolz for a seat on the Westchester County Board of Legislators. Cunzio represents district 3, which includes Mount Pleasant, North Castle, and Pleasantville. Cunzio was elected to her first term in 2015. She is an advocate for animal rights, technological advances, and a greener Westchester County. In her spring 2017 newsletter, she focused on the passing of of the North 60 lease, intended to spur economic development and create jobs.
