Asian fusion restaurant will open in former Pony Express location

The owners of Pubstreet on Wheeler Avenue will open a new restaurant across the street. According to Pubstreet manager Miguel Jarro, the new restaurant will be “an Asian fusion type of restaurant. Some rice bowls, some noodles, some dumplings.”

The Village Social Restaurant Group owns Pubstreet as well as restaurants in Mt. Kisco and Rye. Jarro said the group decided to open another restaurant because they have “been in this business a long time, and the demand right now is very high.”

Jarro said the group liked Pleasantville because it “has grown up so fast, and the people are so kind, that it’s a great place to continue having a community environment.”

Remodeling is still underway at the former Pony Express site, and no name for the new restaurant has been decided.
